Our recent ‘In the Footsteps of the Reformers’ tour was extremely well received, led by Dr Rev Michael Jensen from St Marks Anglican Church Darling Point and Moore Theological College.
Following in the footsteps of the reformers, we travelled from the Czech Republic to Germany, Switzerland and into England – this immersive tour brought the Reformation to life!
The bespoke itinerary included viewing 500-year-old historic manuscripts in pressure-sealed vaults, walking through Hussite caves, and following Martin Luther’s life to where he wrote and nailed the 95 Theses to the church door. We then continued to Switzerland following Huldrych Zwingly, and across to the UK to follow John Wesley and Thomas Cranmer and the English reformation.
This tour attracted an audience from all ages and all walks of life – including Master of Theology students thirsty for knowledge, seeking to bring textbooks to life for the historians. This one-of-a-kind Tour Time experience truly delighted all the senses, opening eyes and minds through a revolutionary journey.
